I miss camp.

I miss spending all day taking pictures and making funny faces. I miss spending all night editing, eating delicious food made by Australians, and doing star photography. I am so happy that I was asked to come back as a counselor next year, and I really hope I'll be able to do it!

Happy Thursday! Nothing new or exciting to talk about here, just sleep deprivation and homework piling up. I just finished reading Fast Food Nation, and am scared for my life now. Not because of the horrible working conditions or even the mistreatment of the cattle or how unhealthy fast food is. No, I am terrified after reading all about the spreads of E Coli and Bovine (Mad Cow) Disease. They provided interviews with parents whose children (generally under age 6) had eaten contaminated meat and died within a week or so from heart attacks and internal combustion (more or less... way too difficult to explain). So, I am thinking of cutting red meat out of my diet. But, today I had beef lasagna for lunch and then a hot dog for dinner. We'll see how this goes- haven't officially decided yet.

Why not show this to you guys? I'm back in the swing of orchestra. Every other day for 1.5 hours, and also 3 mornings of the week for an additional 50 minutes each day. Bow is rehaired, strings tuned. And when he starts to play the Vivaldi part in this song, it gives me jitters!

Possibly the last time ever getting to go to the state fair with these two. Tradition... gone. It's kind of frightening, really! Where are we going to be in a year? Sure, I've got 9 more months of school (exactly, actually), and then the best time of my entire life in Maryland, but then after that... what? Sure, I have my dream plan. Whitman College studying anthropology. But what happens if that doesn't work out? Meh. I've got time to think about it. So for now I will keep taking pictures and doing things I enjoy :)
