Renaissance Festival 2012

Also known as, a people watcher's fantasy. So many weird people, so many funny things that I needed to photograph.
A man with a huge beard sat at this booth just telling riddles... all day everyday. What a job!
 Julie really liked the headpieces!
Do I need an explanation for why I love this?
First one of these I've seen in a while where the drawing actually looks like the models.
Yes, this tortoises is supporting one of my favorite things. Yes, we did become friends. He nibbled on my jeans.
 They also sold didgeridoos!
I'm going to be honest, the fairies really creep my out.
As much as I love elephants, I am really frustrated when they are treated this horribly. For my first time going to the ren fair, I did not ride one.
Zomg the people that exist in the world.

Veronica- Some Senior Shots

^ What what is happening here what? "I'M AN ANGEL!!!"

I promise, there are more normal, beautiful ones like these (above and below), but I wanted to keep things interesting with the shots on my blog.

I know... so much black and white. I have lots of color shots as well, but these black and white ones I feel like are really more my style so I wanted to put them here!

Atop the Guthrie

Today was quite the driving adventure! Eventually, Veronica and I made it to the Guthrie Theater in Mpls, and were able to take her senior pictures. Those aren't quite done yet, but here are some of the fun shots I got!
Was this guy weirded out by us? Probably. Is this a cool picture of him? Yes.
 Stunning dress, dollface!
No editing has happened yet, but these walking pictures are still incredible!
Stereotypical Minneapolis Mills picture...

What is this, Tumblr? But Coldplay is great, and even when everything else sucks it makes everything great. Great great great. So, here's to you, Chris Martin, let's get married!
Also, not sure how I'm feeling about the fact that one of my closest friends will probably extend her exchange program and be in Germany for a year... actually, I know how I'm feeling about that. And as much as I love her and want her to have fun, it is not a good feeling. I feel quite sick actually, because I want her to be home.

Right person, wrong time. Heart on sleeve, denied. So, here are some great things to cheer myself (and anyone else) up.

I hereby declare that credit for all of these shall go to its rightful owners, and graciously thank them.

I'm just going to leave this here...

School results in nostalgia.

With school starting, I have been stressed. Horribly, horribly stressed. Work has been busy, auditions have happened, and college applications are in the process of being submitted. Through all of these, I keep thinking back to Peru. Maybe it is writing an essay about my horrible sloth experience for my college applications, maybe it is my environmental science class that talks about the biodiversity of the Amazon (and all I can think of is the gold mining). My Spanish class keeps talking about South American culture, and I want to chime in and say what I learned while I was in Peru, but sometimes my thoughts and passion get lost in translation. Anywho, I am incredibly excited for college. Mainly because I plan on spending an entire year abroad, and at least a semester of that will be in South America. Possibly a semester in Peru and a semester in Brazil, but there is still a chance that I may want to spend my second semester in someplace new, such as New Zealand (hey, shaking things up- it's a photographer's paradise). So, here are some pictures from Peru just to let everyone else see some of the interesting things that I miss.
