Halloween!!!

Okay- so these are the pumpkins this year. Woohoo! Haven't carved a pumpkin in years, this one seems pretty decent.
Hi, guys! So, I've been super busy, my apologies. Plus, nothing really all that interesting has been happening. College applications, blesh. Pretty Little liars, scary. Football game Friday, cold. Halloween party yesterday, felt sick. But, today Popop and I went on a long singletrack ride, which was really fun!

Boston 2012 College Tour

We got lost and ended up on MIT's campus... intimidating.
Hated it, hated it, hated it.
Look! It's Marra at Harvard! Woohoo!
One thing I found interesting about Harvard- tourists. Everywhere. I could never go to a school when there are so many strangers just creepin on the campus. But, here is the library.
At Brandeis I would have the option of living in a castle. ;osdgih;oha
Also, I love their campus center.
Unfortunately, it was super rainy. So there was lots of driving in the rain. And I didn't exactly bring the proper clothes to get soaked it.

Shall we discuss all the cute houses of Worcester? Didn't like the school, but the off campus houses was almost as cool as the dorms (see below)

Somehow we got the key to the suite at our hotel... NOICE!
 View from hotel... gasorihadg
 Hey, Mom!

We went to Sweet. It was delicious.
I am lazy and don't feel like cropping this.
Feneal Hall is beautiful all lit up at night.
My mother and I went here just because we have both used a monologue for auditions that mentions this restaurant in it. Well worthy of the long walk.

Let us admire the shoes I bought for $5 in Worcester.

Speaking or Worcester, pictures from Boston will be up soon! I just have to weed through about 300 of them and clean up a few. God- I love photoshop so much.

Apple Orchard

So, today we went to an apple orchard! A new one, I don't remember the name of it. Something ordinary, like Minnesota Orchards. Anyway, we faced the cold and quite enjoyed it. I consumed 4 apples while picking, apple cider, two apples at home, and a caramel apple today. Yes, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. But what about having that many? Anywho, they are delicious. My favorite genetically modified apple is certainly the snow crisp,  but today I discovered a love for keepsakes as well.
Is now the appropriate time to talk about my awesome relationship with my awesome father? We are the same person and laugh at the same things and think the same way. I will develop this thought further later... but he is incredible and this picture of him makes me chortle.

 Look, he's so farmy sometimes.

So, I took this picture a few weeks ago and just found it on my computer. I like it- I shouldn't because it is slightly blurry and nothing abnormal, but I do. So. That's that and now it's on the internet.

Blood Drive Horrors

Meh. Marra being as awkward as this turtle today. I was very excited to donate blood today, since I haven't been able to for over a year because I went to Peru. I was pumped. I filled up the baggie, all was good. Then I started to feel nauseous. They put my feet up and gave me juice, all better! Then I walked away, got a cookie, and suddenly lost my sight. Then they laid me down on the gym floor. Then they helped me over to the bed thang. Then they put up my feet, blood rushed back and I could see clearly again (phew, fainting avoided!). Then I threw up four times. In front of people I knew. I know, I'm cute, right?

Time to dry out wood for bonfires and empty the plant pots for freezing, IT'S AUTUMN!

Ahh, the joys of college applications. So many essays to write, not enough time. However, I am trying to write my best on the ones for this college. Whitman- still planning on applying early decision. They have every possible program I want, are super small (which most people are repulsed by) and have an incredible education without being snotty, East Coast schooling, or overly competitive. It's perfect. Now, all I've got to do is finish these supplements...

Polaroid

So, I just bought a used Polaroid Camera. It's a 600, but I honestly have no clue what that means. I had to have the girl at National Camera put in the film for me because I didn't want to ruin it and I had no clue what I was doing. And that film is expensive. Anyway, the shots turned out crappppppppy. Godly awful. So, I am going to try again in daylight tomorrow, hopefully figure out the exposure since it looks like a giant white blob, then invest in some color film. The black and white is not nearly as cool as I was hoping for. But let's be honest, I felt like a hipster buying this camera. And I hate hipsters, they are one of the most obnoxious images that I have ever encountered. However, something is so fun about taking a picture and having it in your hands instantly.
